Greetings - new member
My husband and I purchased a 28-foot 2004 Classic just before the four hurricanes hit our home state of Florida that year. We towed the trailer to Georgia after the first one (Charlie) which sent a large pine tree through our house roof. We left it in Georgia on a relative's property, under shelter. Only weather problem there is the occasional tornado, but we have them here in Florida, as well.
We have traveled as far west as Montana in 2010 and to Pennsylvania in 2011. We arrange our routes to see as many historic sites and National Parks as possible. Hope to go to northern California, Oregon, and Washington next time. Wanted to make a trip to Alaska, but couldn't go through Canada with our "undocumented" Italian Greyhound. He was allergic to all vaccines so thought it best to stay in the States. Trying to get his rabies titer results approved by the Canadian government proved impossible. Fortunately, the lower 48 have more than enough sights to keep us busy and happy.
Best regards,
Blanche Wallace
