Hey there! My wife and I are joining up as we begin the restoration of our custom
1967 Sovereign trailer. Custom because from what we have been told it is one of the only Airstreams ever made with three doors. All of the doors are on the curb side.
From what we are told by the factory it was made for factory exec's and sales people to use for the
1968 New York Airstream Jamboree.
As for our plans? We are currently gutting it for a frame off restoration that will see it become a mobile retail sales unit for my wife business, Calamity Jane's Trading Co. of the Napa Valley.
We will probably be on here a lot asking advice and we will try to share the progress as we go on. I will attempt to expand on what we plan to do in more detail next time and hope for useful feedback!
