Greetings from Saskatchewan

Hello, we are Leon and Janey from Regina, Saskatchewan Canada and are newbies to the forum. We are also S.O.B (Some Other Brand) owners but after having our first tour of several A/S this past week we are happy to announce that we are going to change the trailer we tow. Our closest dealer is over three hours away and until the tours we hadn't even considered an A/S as our future retirement home. We are just over three years away from DW retiring and we have joined the forum to gain knowledge on Air Stream living, towing and maintaining. In our thirty-seven years of marriage we have had 1 tent, 4 fold down trailers, 1 truck camper, 1 fifth wheel and now our present TT (a 2012 Dutchmen Kodiak 242RESL) - whew ! We had the 5'er the longest at just 25 years and it seems like they don't make Rv's like that anymore although we are hopeful in the Airstream. What really surprised me was when the tours were over both DW and I agreed on the one we want for our retirement home - 30 foot Classic (she's a real beauty).
In our upcoming time together we hope we can be of as much help to you as we know you will be to us. Hopefully our paths will cross and we'll be able to share a conversation together.

Leon and Janey

Welcome! Thanks for sharing your history and that terrific quote.

I'm a newbie here myself so not a ton of useful advice yet but my wife and I just bought our first trailer - a 27fb Flying Cloud and the sheer joy of our first outing is still making me smile!

Welcome and good luck!

Welcome from Southern Ontario.... just picked up our A/S this afternoon and drove it home... just backed into the driveway! The weather just got better and can't wait to get out and explore.

Welcome from another brand new 'newbie'

Welcome from BC! We get a fair number of RVers from Alberta and Saskatchewan out here. Partly the beautiful mountains and lakes, but probably because the climate is a bit milder. [In Canada, there is no "south" to get to. It's all north, but some places are a lot more north than others.]

Welcome from Ontario/Saskatchewan

Welcome,

I am sure you will find Airstreamers a very welcoming group. I sure have over the last 10 years of owing one.

I am currently residing in Ontario, but will be moving to sunny (albeit chilly) Saskatoon in September.

Look forward to meeting up with you some time.
