I am the owner of an 85 Sovereign 34' that had been an NBC makeup trailer in a previous life. It is clean and solid with a tile floor, and some retro cabiinetry. An anchored chair is the only furnishing. Just a lavatory and sink. The sellers, not the owner gave me no information other than it has two furnaces. I would like to have the mechanicals inspected and obtain a manual. It is stored in the lot in Michigan City, IN. Any advice or references would be appreciated. A former plant engineer at the U of Chicago told me he wouldn't be able to help despite his years spent dealing with furnaces and boilers.

The Northern IL Chapter has a rally this weekend. Depending on what you intend to do with the unit and the pricing you might want to talk to one of the officers and see if one of the members (that lives over that way) would be willing to volunteer to come over and help you inspect it. Check their website on WBCCI website for phone numbers. Most of them will be leaving for the rally this afternoon so you would really have to get on it if you intend to reach them. If it is roadable simply pull it out to Amboy 4H fairground on highway 30 by Amboy IL and I am sure someone will help you.
