Greetings from Belgium

Hi everyone,

I didn't want to place a thread before my dream trailer came home, but now it's done, I'm there!
I've found a very nice unrestored '71 Globetrotter, and will register it next week, here in Belgium. I never thought this would happen, seeing he huge prices those trailers are sold here. But this one was at a very nice price.
Everything seems to be in very good condition, interior is all original, and almost like new.
I'm just looking after a new or good useable exterior door handle, and a brake controller for my Chevy Express van of '97.
I'm sure I will have a lot of fun with this trailer, and will certainly tow it next summer in the west of France, maybe with my Dodge Charger of '68.
I will be happy to be here more often now I'm a new member of this nice community.
Already thanx for all the help you will provide to an European newbie.
D.

Welcome Mister D

Sounds like you picked the Airstream with the right name. When you get it on the road tells about camping there..... your travels, how it is different form the States, etc.

Good Luck!

Thanx for your kind messages.
I've rent a place to keep the trailer dry and safe, because I need to sell an old little trailer of 1960 to have place in my own garage. As soon I can I will make good pictures. And my hope is to use the Globetrotter next juli.
Hope to read you soon in the forums.
D.
