Question Greetings....finally doing something with the Trailer

Way back when, my grandparents owed a 1964 Overlander. It was parked in the mid 1980s and along the line I bought it from my sister for $600, where it continued to sit.

Well, I'm finally going to do something with it, but before I go too far, I wanted to see if it would be of any interest to someone serious about it.

First, it is one of the first 1964 Overlanders off the line, and seems to have come with every option in the book. Was delivered to the buyer in late 1963 (Yes, I have all the paperwork including the sales receipt).

At the time it was parked pretty much everything was OEM, except for the water pump which was replaced with the same model, and the carpeting, the furnace exterior baffle and the rear access door. Further all appliances were functioning.

Now so far I've replaced the OEM rims in order to move it. I'm getting ready to replace the fan motor with a RAL1006 and then see where we stand. The running lights will all be replaced with Vintage trailer LED teardrops to match the originals. Rear lens will be replaced and depending on condition the rear light bases as well. Forward vent will be replaced, and then I will get into the running gear. Brakes are probably a write off, the shocks are toast and all in all it probably could do with whole new axle assemblies.

Anyway, the priorities is to get the exterior tight, tow capacity restored, and then start seeing what the mechanicals and interior need. I plan to clean the exterior but I don't want to polish it.
