Greetings and Salutations

Hi all,

I am suddenly the proud owner of a 1975 27' Overlander. Yikes!

I travel around the country for work and train for triathlons wherever I go. A camper was a logical step. An unrestored vintage Airstream was a bit of beautiful madness!! As my uncle put it "You are in over your head and I think that is so COOL."

I have been in it for a couple of weeks now and have had a variety of problems, learning to triage them into "OMG!! Deal with this ten minutes AGO!" and "Duct tape will hold it until I have a cup of coffee!".

The Airstreamers (my nickname for you) I have met along the way have been the most amazing, entertaining, helpful characters and I am grateful for all of the impromptu help I have already received.

This little adventure is going to be expensive, exhausting, and FUN.

I keep a triathlon training/travel blog that you are welcome to follow... Runs Like A Duck!.

Welcome to the Airforums Duckie!

We love new members and are eager to help with the triage... Duct tape is a wonderful thing.

Cheers Vinnie

Eastern South Dakota is very pretty with hills, rivers, and trees.
