Greetings and Question

Hi all,
My wife and I hail from Newmarket, Ontario. We own a 1997 Airstream Land Yacht 30. We haven't done much travelling yet but are enthusiastic to get going in the very near future, and hope to meet many of you via this forum or/on the road.
We also have a question: We have a leak around the front windshield and suspect the join in the roof as the source. We would like to caulk it. Can we walk on the roof to do so?
Thanks in advance,
Kyran & Anna Kennedy

Walking on the roof isn't recommended. I would fabricate a scaffolding out of a couple of ladders and a length of 2x12 board to walk on. Also, don't use regular caulking for repairs. Use the Vulkum or Sikaflex products used by Airstream. Silicon caulk will fail.

Welcome to the forums!

In case you haven't seen this thread yet, I would recommend reading as much as you can stomache. Lots of information about various sealants.
