Greetings & 1973 Sovereign

Greetings,

I'm excited to be new member of AirForums. I've always loved the Airstream aesthetic/design and have just started seriously looking for my first project.

I'm looking at a 1973 Sovereign. From the pics, it looks in pretty good shape and the owner is asking $3500.

I was wondering can this model be polished to a nice shine. I had heard some of the post 1968 Airstreams don't "shine up" so well.

Any feedback/suggestions is greatly appreciated.

Welcome and first I would like to say that we all love pictures and yes we sometimes buy airstreams from pictures but until you can do the laying on of hands we always hold our breaths and hope for the best! Please when you get the opportunity post some for us to see.
