Glad you've joined our little group. As in most cases, just the right trailer will find you.

Thank you all for the sharing and encouragement. We are off for the Thanksgiving holiday, and will resume our search when we return. No hurry, really. We wont be camping in it soon, but methinks it may be a good time to buy?

It is fun seeing how much there is to learn about airstream, trailer camping and maintenance in general, the airstream community, the forum usage.... This is an adventure already, and we haven't yet a trailer!

When I got mine I had " looking withdraw " but the I found even more to learn! Something will always pop up that needs researching and that's why I love this forum. It's a great bunch of people always willing to help. And it's a great time to buy. Last year at this time is when I stepped it up in high gear. Know your prices, options etc and you CSM haggle a good price if they want to sell it bad enough. Have a happy Thanksgiving!

Good news! We found our trailer. Going to Portland tomorrow to take delivery. Will post details and maybe a photo when we return.

Our great adventure begins!

Welcome. I can only say one bit of advice that has not been given and that is to learn the different floorplans and see what suits you the best. This is what we did and still love our choice. Good luck.

Well we are the very happy owners of a 2007 Safari (Bambi) 19 Special Edition, with a load-equalizing hitch. We drove it home to Seattle from Portland with our Volvo XC-90 twin-turbo. The Bambi is in great condition. It is no problem to tow with the XC-90.

We are almost as excited as when we brought our first daughter .... OK, well not THAT excited, but definitely looking foreward to a lot of good times in our new (to us) Airstream.

Airstream trailers are sooo coool!!!

It is dark when I get home from work, so I will post photos when I can see it again in the daylight.
