Welcome to the forum. Could you tell us just what you're too old for. Is it the trailer or the work shop? If you thought you included pictures, they didn't make it. Try again. We'd love to see what you're talking about.

Smile I have learned I have a 67 not a 69!

I must apoligize for a negative trend in my thinking . I have had five surgerys in my leg and let it get me down but then I saw a guy with no legs and came to realize just how well I am off! As for the "workshop" it is on hold till I get it moved from it's present location.(StMarys Ga.) We are relocating back to Cleveland Ga. where we have a place that is paid for! I will try to keep anyone interested in my travails in near future. I must thank so many of you in various areas for the help and good will you have shown me. It has really made an impact on me and I appreciate it all greatly. Ciao capy bill

Dear Capy Bill:

No need to apologize for being down after major surgery - you have the normal, sane reaction. Those people who are universally cheerful are sometimes just in denial. You're facing some necessary changes in your plans. Congratulations for realizing that you are so much better than the man with a double amputation. That's the stuff to get you motivated to move forward.

Now - as a woman - I'll let you in on what might move me to encourage a putative husband to buy a newer Airstream. So. Your health has sent you a warning shot across the bow. You aren't going to live forever, so convince your wife that you want to go on your second honeymoon NOW. With Her. Today - while the blossom still clings to the vine!

Your present unit will require 30K or more to have a top notch professional renovater do "the full monte". Alternately you and "she who must be obeyed" can get a new or newish Airstream and be on the road in a couple of weeks. There's a real beauty at Bates right now. See the 75th anniversary prototype they have - it's a bit on the small side, but oh my gosh if they made all of them that well. Put your current unit on the Classifieds and Craigslist and move forward.

Do the Honey can WE please cherish the time we have together - going off into the sunset in a ready-to-roll Airstream?

Saving for your old age? Tell her the fruit is always sweetest just before it falls from the tree, so you're ripe! It could do the trick. Slather it on! Women cannot get too much romance.

Paula
