Grammy

Posting for first time. Recently purchased a 1976 tradewind landyatch. Looking forward to some restoration work. I am sure I will be asking a lot of questions as I start. Any advice before I start.....?

Anyway just wanted to say hello!

Welcome to the forums!

Welcome, and congrats on the trade wind, I am sure you will love it as much as I love my 68. When you get a chance post some images, we LOVE to see them. If you havent found it yet, the search function is a good way to find out what folks here have had to say about all sorts of repair and general AS related issues. Did I mention to post pics....

Grammy - Welcome to the forums. Mid 70's Trade Winds are great. I almost bought a 76 before I found my 75. One piece of advice is to check out the floor for soft spots before you do anything else. One spot that can be a problem on this era is the area around the back bumper. Rain water would run into the trailer from the bumper and cause the floor under the sink area to rot. Mine had a slight case of it, others can be worse.

When you have a question, use the search function on the bar at the top of the screen. If you can't find an answer, ask. Be sure to post pictures, we all love pictures!

Hi Grammy,

Great Unit! Ask any questions you want. We want you to get it done in time for camping season. So you can join us around the campfire.

Please post before and after pics. We LOVE pictures.
