Got a round tuit
Hi What a great site. I bought my '66 Overlander Land Yacht in 2000 and lived in it for 1 1/2 yrs before I met my new wife and moved to her house. We called it The Summer Resort and it sat neglected until last month when I bootlegged it home. The under belly in the rear was rotted and I cut it out and ripped the black water tank out. I have no idea what I'm doing but I know it will be fun! I know I can count on you guys give me tips. We want to get it camp ready first thing, and work on restoration as it can be afforded.

Welcome! Somebody said... something about necessity being the mother of invention. I think they must have been very close to right. You have arrived at the right place especially if you like learning on the spot! Take some pictures and post em so we can see where you are so far with your trailer.

Moderators!! Youse guys need to make a page that newbies must read before they can enter the forum for the first time after registering that covers posting photos! (no offense Chris, every newbie has this problem--happy to help)
OK, when you're composing a post, you see lots of icons at the top of the posting window. The paperclip is the one you want--it opens a new temporary window and allows you to browse your files for images and upload them. There are limits on image pixel dimensions and total file size, listed below the browse windows on that page. Anyway, once you've selected your images, mouse down on the "upload files" button and wait until the files are listed in blue. The files are uploaded, you can close that window.
Now, go back and hit the down arrow to the right of the paperclip. You will see all your uploaded files listed. When you select a file in this list, it is inserted right at your cursor--so position your cursor (like between a couple of carriage returns between paragraphs) before you open the list. Repeat placing your cursor and selecting from the list.
The other way to insert an image is to use the yellow icon with the mountains (bttom row, right). This allows you to grab an image that has a URL out on the web. In this way you can copy an image from your blog or from another forum post if you want to comment on it and have it availabe right there in your post.

Thanks, Zep. I also found Info from Janet in Forum How-to's and Support. Can anyone give me the nerve to try it?

Anybody who can "cut out an under belly and rip out a black water tank" surely has the nerve to post up some photos! Post those photos on up pardner.

No kidding, what you've done so far is far more difficult than posting photos.
I'm a huge fan of the Overlander model, so post 'em up when you can.

See, that wasn't so bad, now was it?
Nice trailer, looks like you're diving right in. Congrats!
