Going Forward

Hi All,
Just getting started in all of this and can't wait.

We retired and purchased our 2004, 28' Classic a few months ago and have been on a few short trips trying to assure we know how to operate it. We'll need help, time to time, to find the way to go forward, so will be reading your discussions in the "Forums" with great interest.

If you see us out there, please stop in and say Hi! We'll have a cup of coffee or a glass of wine ready for you.

Best of luck to you - visit here often for advice, fellowship, general silliness, and answers to your questions. Be sure to post pictures when you can - we're like little kids - pictures grab and hold our attention!!!

You'll find that AS owners tend to seek each other out in campgrounds and non-AS owners seek you out as well so satisfy their curiosity about your AS.

Welcome to the forums and congratulations on your choice of Airstream for retirement. We are one half retired; I still have to convince hubby that the world can get along without him in the workforce mainstream. See you on the road or in camp ~G

Welcome!

I'm glad you finally found us. We've been waiting for you.

There is a pretty good sized group of us here in So. Cal. So you'll have to live up to your name and join in with us on some or all of our forays.

If you can't camp with us next weekend in Malibu you can surely join us for Potluck. We always have too much food. We'll save a space at the table for you.

As far as technical info goes. You can't beat this place. Ask away or use the search function or both. Airstreamers seem to go out of their way to help each other and we have fun doing it.

Look forward to seeing you soon.

Oh, I forgot..

If you and your trailer can make it to Malibu. You'll learn more than you can imagine about your Airstream.

Hi Irishrover

I thought I'd vouch for these NorCal folks, they're the best. We've met them at the 29 Palms rally and are really looking forward to Casini. We are also from SD and just took delivery of our 07 25'FB International and like you, we're getting used to everything. Hope to see you out there soon.

Welcome to the Forums, and best of luck in your Airstream travels. If our paths cross on the road, I'll take you up on that cup of coffee.

Yes, we did and we love it. We won't be able to make Malibu, already had plans for something else. Let us know if anyone is doing something before Casini, otherwise we'll see you all there. (I hope some of the other San Diegans can make it too!)
