Getting settled in our new '86 Sovereign

Hi,

After 15 years of fun in our '88 Westfalia and after thinking about it for a long time, we finally sold the West and bought our first (but not last?) Airstream. We got a wonderful deal on a 1986 Sovereign in excellent shape. The previous owner took great care of it. (Hi Ron! )
Everything is working and in very good condition. Of course we'd like to make a few improvements. First thing we'll do is take off the curtains and put on mini-blinds. We'll also change the twin beds for a double or maybe a queen bed - we have to see if it will fit.
I'm currently browsing through the forums. It's so great to have this incredible source of information! Thanks everybody!
We'll be using our new house on wheels for the first time this week-end. Can't wait!

We love our new (to us) '83 Sovereign! I got rid of the mini-blinds and put up roller blinds and curtains! I guess personal choice - I can't stand mini-blinds!

Could you tell me why you don't like mini-blinds? Maybe there's a reason I didn't think about and I'd like to know before we go ahead and do the change...

Thanks willyd! I'm sure we'll love our trailer as much as we enjoyed our Westfalia. Now that we have a young child, more space was a must. :0)
