Hello to everyone,Long time fan.i recently sold my 60 tradewind about a year ago.Not knowing how much i would miss it,until we went tent camping a couple weeks ago. It rained both days....MISERABLE!.Anyway im back in the market for another vintage model. This time we want a smaller airstream. Both our kids are grown,.it will be just the two of us.I was interested in attending the national rally in Perry,ga.this month.just to look around for the day. Will this be possible w/o a airtream,or being a member of the Wally Byam club?
Hi and Welcome to the forums. I dont know much about the WBCC, but I was told you have to be a member to "officially" park with them but I dont see why you couldnt camp close by or even drive over for a visit. Im sure someone will be along shortly to answer your question. Good Luck on your search!
Yes, it's possible. If your interest is vintage trailers, the best day to visit will be Saturday (6/30) when the Vintage Airstram Club has their Open House from 11:00-3:00. Do check in at the McGill Marketplace building to purchase a Day Pass though...they were about $10 last year, should be about the same this year. If you have a Day Pass, you will be able to walk the grounds freely.
Stop by & say "hi"!
Shari
