Hey y'all!

I'm a transplant from the frigid north to Georgia. Been here half my life so I guess I'm grafted to the South! My live-with gentleman life-friend was born in the South. This is our second A/S. We are full timers and have been for over 10 years.
The first A/S was a 1963 that had a fire this past June. My better half saved all our belongings but the smell from the electrical fire and our nerves just wouldn't let us stay in it any longer. We've had this one for about three years and lived in it out of town because of work. We retrieved it from storage out of state to keep from being homeless. Have been working to make it home.
Looking forward to more than 10 years in this one!

Welcome to the group. As a fellow GA resident, we have found the state great for camping and Airstreaming. There is an active WBCCI unit with a campground in Helen. Also, the forums Fallulimium is rapidly approaching. It is held in Hiawasse. In addition to that, there is a "Georgia Airstream Campers" group on Yahoo.
