Forum Newbie with a 62 Tradewind

Howdie Folks- We're brand new to the Air scene-
Purchased a 62 Tradewind on Sunday and are eager to start fixing her up.
Sink, Refrigerator (Dometic), Stove (Robert Shaw Princess) and I believe the furness (Glen Aire) are all original appliances. Looks like at one point in 1976, a big old AC/heater Coleman Mach 3 was added. It works but is a little grumbly sounding. I haven't had a chance to fire any of them up yet with the exception of the AC.. Am hopeful we can get them all working properly.
Looking forward to researching the 62 and getting as much advice from these pages as possible
We're in Venice Ca. and would love to find an inspector to check her out-
If anyone is up for it we'd greatly appreciate it.
thanks and best wishes
David

That's just awesome!! The older Tradewinds are beautiful and make great projects.

Congrats and welcome to the Tradewind Family! We have an "older brother"...'61. Amazing you were able to move it down the path with out a tow vehicle. The forumites love inside pics and I'm sure you'll get lots of answers to any questions and questions that you weren't even thinking about!

I have 1962 Tradewind too. Redoing as we speak. Had to replace the floor, outriggers, shell off replacement, and put in a new front pièce. Lots of work still to be done but having fun with her. Oh and welcome to the forms! If anyone hasn't told you yet you name your Airstream. Mines named after my Grandma her name was Agnes.
