Floorplan

I have a 1970 Safari and I want to convert it to sleep 4, moving the existing pull out bed from the front to where the dinette now is and replacing it with a new dinette with cushions all around, similar to a restaurant booth. Any designs already available for something like this? It is almost impossible for an adult to sit at the dinette, it is too cramped.

It's funny that you mentioned that because I've got a '59 Tradewind with a front sofa that I want to convert to a dinnete! The sofa folds open to a bed that is fine for young children or adults who don't exceed 4'6''.

I'm figuring a horse shoe shaped dinnete that will accomidate 5 adults and sleep 2 adults. I'm not farmiliar with the year and model of your trailer.

How much space do you have in the front of your trailer?

plowboy ~

Did you ever switch out your sofa for a dinette? Would love to see some pix of your transformations.
