I've heard a great deal about this site and am anxious to get acquainted. My husband and I have been WBCCI member since 1996 and have been very active with the club. We have made many nice friends and feel like it is extended family.

I'm glad you decided to peek in! We also feel like our WBCCI unit is an extended family. I like the forum too though, because it allows us to keep in touch with friends online daily. And since we started having forum rallys in our area, we now have friends online who we occasionally get to visit with in person. In fact our WBCCI unit hosted a forum rally last year, and everyone had a great time. I think the forums and the WBCCI complement each other nicely! Welcome!

I too have found the WBCCI to be like an extended family. My Overlander found me in 1995 and I joined the WBCCI a short time later. The International Rally in Huntsville was the first that I could have attended following getting my coach road-ready, but when I learned that we couldn't run our air conditioners in heat/humidity that I was sure would be at least as bad or worse than what we experience in Southern Illinois -- I chose to wait for the next International Rally -- since then, the only International that I have missed was the Vermont International.

I am sure that you will enjoy participaing in these forums -- the discussions can become quite lively.

Welcome to the forums.Lots of great people here with information to share.I was fortunate enough to attend the 1997 WBCCI International Rally in Huntsville in 1997.It was my first visit to your state and I had a great time checking out the local attractions and have pleasant memories of the visit.
