First time RV owner!
We live in central Texas, and the wife and I just bought a 2017 19CB. This is our first travel trailer ever owned or borrowed, so we're newbies in every sense of the word.
Our tow vehicle is a 2012 Tundra Crewmax.
Looking forward to reading more, learning about, contributing to, and hopefully learning to love, these revered american icons that are airstreams.

Welcome from Colorado: Congratulations on your Airstream decision. Our 1986 has been in the family since new. Your Airstream will last a very, very long time.
These Airstream Forums will be very helpful to you as you learn all about traveling with a RV. There is a lot to learn, so take it slow and easy at first. Plan a few short trips for a night or two and then back. I would stay on secondary roads where there is less traffic and merging, lane changing to do.
There is a great book on the Airstream Life Store for newbies. You might want to order a copy and read it over. It is very helpful.
Enjoy
David

Welcome to the forum. My wife and I purchased a FC19 back in June and like you it was our first ever RV experience. We had some incredible experiences with our Bambi last summer and can't wait for the 2018 season to begin. With the help of friends and the forum we've learned a great deal about the 19' so if you have any questions or we can help in any way just shout.

Welcome.
The book David is refering to is "The Newbies Guide to Airstreaming." Lots of good information. While you are there you may want to pick up a copy of "The (nearly) Complete Guide to Airstream Maintainance."
First few times out will have some frustrations. Its all part of the learning process. You will be an old hand at this before you know it.
You may want to check out some of the LOHOHO videos on youtube. Good information and very entertaining.
Enjoy!
