We have an 85 soverign 29' which we have owned for four years now and have really enjoyed. We tow it with an '02 Tahoe. Actually everything in the airstream works, although the fresh water tank leaks a little and I suspect that my axles will need replacing in the next year or so.

I too own an '85 Sovereign. Albeit, it is a 25 footer.
Here you will find a lot of information and history. If you have a question ask it and there are several on here that are more than willing to lend a hand.
