What year and model do you have? You should add it to your signature.

Welcome to the Forum! Yes, you have certainly upgraded to the best, although since we are vintage folks I can't give you any tips on your specific trailer.

The red numbers are the PO's membership number in WBCCI, the Airstream club, and you should probably remove them to avoid Airstreamers thinking you are someone else. That said, however, we are still carrying our PO's numbers; just too busy to take 'em off. But it's up to you.

Take it out to a campground/rv site with full hookups that is near to your home and test everything out. That way, you can figure out and possibly fix any things that might not be operational. It also will be an easy way to learn how to use it and if you have issues, get home and spend the night!

Good luck. They are fun.

Congrats on your trailer! We bought ours last year and we've learned a lot from other members in the San Diego WBCCCI unit, www.airstreamsandiego.com.

The next rally will be in August, but there's a picnic later this month. Happy trails!

Thumbs up You Never Know

This forum has more information than the encyclopedia and trivia, too.

It is your lucky day as here is a picture of your WBBCI number taken in Natchez, Alabama back on March 10, 1963. The number was owned by Charles 'Albert' and Ruth Greetham from Plantation, Florida. The original digital picture can be found on the sierranevedaairstream.org site.

I assume your signature choice of a 2008 23' International means it is not the same trailer.

FYI, I haven't a clue who may have owned the number since then.

Greetings...Congrats on your new Airstream. I would recommend purchasing The Newbies Guide to Airstreaming by Rich Luhr. We found this quick read to be extremely helpful in getting us up to speed on our newly purchased Airstream (it doesn't replace the owners manual, but it's the the first resource we reach for when we have questions - informative and funny too!). Enjoy...you're going to love your home awway from home!

Welcome to the Aluminum Family. If you join WBCCI, you may ask if you can get that number? If the original owner of the number has ceased membership, it may be available. Talk to them.

Welcome to the wonderful world of Airstreaming!!
Once you join the WBCCI, you will receive a directory both by Red Number and by name (if I remember correctly!) of all of the Airstream members.
I originated in Airstreams (when I was little), went to tent camping as I'm a big scuba diver, then after getting married switched to the pop up. Found an old (neglected) 1980 in a storage unit and brought her home. Betty has yet to be on the road as she needed major work, but we are getting close.
Congrats on your new addition.

I think it works this way, at least for me = anytime you respond to a post you are "subscribed" to that thread. When you click the UserCP on the blue bar at the top left you'll see all the posts for which there is activity and to which you are subscribed. You can use Thread Tools to unsubscribe or ignore threads. Does that help?

If your Airstream did not come with the owner's manual, you can probably access it on the Airstream factory website. I think it is under the tab "support" or something like that. Congratulations on the purchase.

Did you buy your trailer at Camper Clinic II in Buda, Texas? I saw your model with those "big red numbers" for sale on their website. Looks like a nice unit. We bought our trailer from that dealer, and have been satisfied.

#4227 seems to have most recently belonged to someone in Georgia... he was listed in my 2012 directory but not 2014 (I don't know where my 2013 directory is at the moment, probably in the truck or the Argosy.) So, it may be that you can get that number if you choose to join the WBCCI.
