First Time AS owner

Hey all,

I've wanted an Airstream for YEARS, and I finally have one! It's a 1968 Sovereign 30'. Original equipment, so I'm looking for help to replace some broken windows and accurate wiring diagrams. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Thanks 😃

Make it watertight first. Take everything slow and easy. Some make an aluminum tent during rebuild to enjoy camping while redoing.

Plan on it taking you longer than expected. Make it watertight. Assure that the floor in the rear is not rotten ( listen to the Vintage Airstream Podcast) contact Colin Hyde for new axles, if they have not been replaced in the last 30 years, you will need them. Enjoy the journey... And report in with questions and pictures, everyone on this site is here to help. No question is dumb.

Congratulations on your new baby, and welcome.

May you have many happy miles.

Great find! Welcome to Airstreaming! You can find people in your area, who have similar issues and solutions, at www.wbcci.org, including the Vintage Airstream Club. Great people, great times, great adventures. Just as those of us at the International Rally in Lewisburg, WV.
