First posting to the Airstream Forum

Hello All,

As the title states, this is my first posting on the site. I have been interested in Airstream trailers since I was a kid. I am in the Navy with four years left until my retirement in 2012. My wife and I are looking to retire on the east coast of Austraila. We have a nice collection of small toys, i.e. 1987 Austin Mini (mine), 2007 MINI Cooper "S" JCW (hers), 1991 HD hardtailed Bobster (mine), along with a 2008 50cc Vespa. All perfect for driving here at Guantanamo Bay Cuba.

Anyone with information on buying an Airstream in Australia or importing an American manufactured Airstream into Oz, feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know anything about Airstreams in Australia or shipping to Australia, but I'm sure there are sources out there. I have seen a couple of resellers shipping vintage Airstreams to the European market. If you are thinking of buying new, you might consider talking to Airstream Corporate in Jackson Center, OH. I see they have a link for Australia but I couldn't find a dealer listed, so you might have to give them a call.
