First Airstream

Just got our 73 Overlander and Have some work to do. The good thing is that I knew I would have some work, bad thing is that I did not expect it to be with the toilet. First time out we found out it was leaking, around the base but not sure why?? So luckily my Dad was around, we took it apart and fixed it. The disappointing thing is that it is a new toilet and doesn't really match the rest of the bath but it works and we are on our way again.

I have camped all my life and have been very anxious to buy a camper and finally we have. We are looking forward to many years of fun and raising our children around camping to really enjoy the outdoors.

Heading to the beach at the end of the month for the last fling of the summer weather. We hope to make it to the SC Jamboree in October maybe we will see you there

Welcome to the forum, Mac. Gotta love those Overlanders, eh? I have one in "kit form" in the backyard (doing a full rebuild).

Post some pictures if you get the chance. We love pics around here.

Welcome McLogger!

The forum is a great place to find all the answers to life ~ well, at least about Airstreams!

Congrats on your Airstream! We hope you sincerely enjoy your time camping! Great for families! When our son was a toddler and he knew we were going camping, he would get in and sit for 2 hours until we got everything loaded because when we said we were going ~ he was READY!

Welcome to the forums! Post pictures! We love them!

Thank you and I agree the moderators do a good job, as far as I have seen.
