The valves for the shower are usually Moen. They are lifetime warranted. Goggle moen and then select the valve model you have from the website. There is a service number there and when you call customer service they will send you out a new cartridge for free.

Congrats on your Airstream and welcome. We need more West Texans, you are right on about the information available on the forums. Let me know if you find anyone around Lubbock that can service an AS.

Nowlin,
Welcome to the forum and congratulations on the purchase. I am pretty sure that whatever you did, it was wrong! The people on here will straighten you out rather quickly but you usually need it. Call sometime.
