Rivet Finally here

Just a brief introduction to the group.

Originally fell in love with Airstream when I researched a character for a novel I'm working on. Eventually that not only blossomed into a full blown crush on Airstream, but also into a character in the book named "Trailer Park Alice." Finally saved up enough to buy my 1977 19' Bambi last month and her name is? TP Alice. Towing with a 2011 Toyota Tundra.

Currently living in Hood River, OR where I run the Sportsgrants Foundation sportsgrants.org. Using Alice as a mobile office and hope to finish her up and go on the maiden voyage after Labor Day.

Any and all suggestions about boondocking in the Pacific NW, especially on runnable rivers Grade 3,4,5 would be appreciated.

Nice to meet you all and hope to see you on the road.

Welcome zagarino. Class 4 & 5 - Wow! We spent many summers kayaking the north shore of Lake Superior and most of the rivers in Ontario flowing north to Hudson Bay (in canoes). Biggest rapids we would run were class 2 as we could not risk loosing gear on long wilderness trips. Always admired you whitewater kayakers.
