I have made my living as an rv tech for the last 35 yrs and currently own my own shop. have been an airstream fan since my teens. last project a 69 caravel sold 4/12/06 bought new project 5/2/06 34' excella tree fell on front so cut 16.5' off rear and put new tongue on it. got rear wall built and sealed up,turn axle around and move forward 16" and close up wheel well.gutted interior and stripped exterior lots of left over pieces I don't sell or give away. aready got rid of 22' a&e main awn. donated to local ham radio club.sold front 1/2 to neighbor for utility trlr.he scapped 400.00 plus for it sold it to him for 500.00 with 2 axles still owes 100.00 but cheap 8'x 18' utility trlr, of course I'll have to mount axles for him but then I will probably borrow it some day . tried to post pic but lost whole post in process
e-mail for pic's or phone love to talk airstream am not ashamed to claim in depth knoledge of same.
