Don't let my the name fool ya!

Hi all!
So, I guess am a newbie here too. I stumbled across this amazing place while researching something I saw along time back. The 20' Airstream Argosy. I've been toying with the idea of getting one ever since I ran across "SURF LAB" some time back. I thought it might be too small for the wife and I, but considering its just the two of us, and she needs to take things easier, (Dr.s orders), I think it would just be perfect.

I really enjoyed reading Martin and Brad's, and many others threads regarding theirs as it gives me lots ideas what to look for.

I think, I know, I found the one I want. Well, it found me. We are working out the details and I will be picking it up soon. I current owner's granddaughter loves it and I wound like for them to enjoy it one or two times more, as my wife is still recovering.

I look forward to sharing my adventures of getting it when I go to pick it up as it my be the most unique 20' I have come across and I think the community will enjoy.

I probably will have lots off questions. So I hope you all won't mind.

Welcome to the Forum Paul. With a little planning I am sure a little 20ft is more than enough for two people, it is for us.

This is a great bunch of folks and the combined knowledge of the 'Guru' have helped me and others out on many occasions - just remember there are no dumb questions - so ask away.

That's awesome Paul! I hope to join the Argosy 20ft family one day but for now we have our 17ft Caravel to keep us going. These airstreams become an addiction!

Now that you have found the site, using all it's resources effectively (minimizing time to find the answer) can be an issue using the "search" tab. There is a ton of information in past posts awaiting your query. I suggest you learn the power of Google.

On the Google page, enter "site:airforums.com" followed by whatever search term you want and google will return results only from Airforums. If you want to get sophisticated, use the advance google search capability:
