Hi, Im new to this forum and dare i say it.... i plan to ship one of your works of art to the UK, i have wanted to own a classic Airstream for a number of years now, but have had to settle for run of the mill gulfstreams or similar. Now luckily i am in a position to purchase one. I have found a 325 tag model 1987 that seems to be in pretty good shape, have only seen photos (plenty of them) and the owner seems genuine. I fully understand that i will probably be spending time and money on her, what are your views, am i totally insane to buy unseen or is it worth the risk, would appreciate all views/ opinions, Thanks.

You're not the first to think of this and there are members here that have purchased trailers or motorhomes and shipped overseas. As for buying sight unseen I would recommend you check our list of volunteer inspectors to see if someone in that area will take a look at the unit on your behalf. Visit the portal page and look for the Airstream Inspector's box located on the righthand side of the page (about half way down).
