Talking Day 2 of owning a 1978 Ambassador and I am already in love!

We have just purchased our first trailer, and we are so excited! We found a 1978 Ambassador Land Yacht in awesome condition, and it is now in our driveway! We are ready to go, but we have to take care of a few minor details like registration and insurance before we can go. Eventually we will have to redo the twin beds and the gaucho so our whole family can sleep comfortably.

Welcome to the forums. Looks like you found one in great shape. I see that the range, fridge and A/C have been replaced.

Your life will be forever changed. Enjoy the ride.

Wow! It looks great. If you are looking for a place to camp in it there is an Airstream campground just north of Helen, GA. It is owned by the GA Unit of the WBCCI and full of folks who love Airstreams and would be happy to answer any questions you have about your Land Yacht. The campground is open all year and our next rally is October 17-21.
