Confused-Vista views

we have some vista windows that need to be sealed but are confused as to what is the best way to go. Which one of the valkum calkings is best and where is the best place to purchase it?

Clean the seams around the outside of the metal sash, and on the outside of the glass to sash seam.

Apply Vulkem sealer to those 2 areas.

Cover the gray gasket completely.

You will never again have a water leak in those areas.

The most common leak area is at the glass edges where the gray gasket is located.

I just went through the exercise of rebuilding my vistaview windows. For Vulkem, I used the Trempro 635. I have heard of people buying Vulkem at Fastenal stores, but the local store didn't sell the 635, ony a "textured" version, and they only work with large orders/contractors anyway. I found the Trempro 635 at both Vintage Trailer Supply and at Out-of-doors Mart (and even at Amazon, if I recall correctly). I think I got it at VTS.
