Complete newbie...

After a year of planning, we are so happy with our brand spanking new 23FB Flying Cloud! We have had some issues right off the lot; wet mattress and associated mold on the bedframe, faulty table (waiting for replacement) and a non-functioning battery shut off switch (and now a dead battery) but I think all can be resolved and are now looking forward to years of traveling the US and exploring!

I think this website and all the forums will be such a wealth of information. We plan to keep learning and going

Welcome and safe travels. Virtually ALL new RVs of any type have some issues, your attitude is just what is needed to move forward and enjoy.

Welcome! We've all been "newbies" at some point. The forum is truly an invaluable asset to us all. Something to consider.....

Welcome aboard! Like was mentioned, we have all (and still are in various degrees) been newbies at one time.

Wishing you many happy and safe miles!

Remember, it's the journey not the destination!

Welcome to the AirForums!

A wet mattress can be replaced by the dealer easily enough. Mold on the bedframe can be removed. But it's important to realize that the wetness came from somewhere. It might just be from condensation, but it might also be from a leak. Make the dealer investigate the cause and tell you which it was.

The dealer spent a week trying to make it leak- pressure sprayed top bottom and in compartments, and then left a sprinkler running on it for a couple of days. Not a drop. The mattress was probably delivered wet- it was still in the bag. Dealer replaced the mattress, replaced the bedframe and plywood and treated for mold. They were very responsive and drove the 2 hrs to retrieve it!
