Red face Cheetah

I am a new member from Johannesburg, South Africa and am not P.C. savvy, so have had some difficulty in even getting to this stage, although by sheer luck I did manage to post a thread about my '79 Argosy in AZ. having a split ceiling !
Glad to be a member now as first bought a 1975 Airstream Sovereign 31' and shipped it to the RSA for my Earth Moving business, using USA Caterpillars, naturally ! My wife loved it as do I, but found the shiny finish not as easy as our painted 30' Argosy to keep up.
Now retired from contracting and flying - flew with the USAF 18th Ftr. Bmr. Wing at K55 in Korean War on F86 Sabrejets when SAAF 2 Sqdr. 'Flying Cheetahs' was under U.N Command and later as an Airline captain and bush pilot.
Will probably be asking a lot of silly questions about getting the Argosy up and working after 16 years storage as previously kept it with the dealer in KY. where it was bought. Seems I came to the right place to get the answers !
Thanks for the welcome message and reply to my split ceiling problem from Administrators.

Welcome Aboard

Semper-Fi Cheetah, thanks for your service.

No such thing as a silly question...

My thanks go to Admin. AAGE, ELIMINATOR 46 and ROBERT CROSS for your kind thoughts on my entry to the Airforums recently. Wishing you all a great Memorial Week-end.
