Cheers!

Greetings Everybody,

I'm a Newbie to this forum and thought I would introduce myself. My name is Steve and I live with my wife Jan on the beautiful Central Coast of California. Jan and I just purchased our 1st Airstream TT this year, and absolutely love it! We have both become obsessed with Airstreams.

We are not new to camping having been avid tent campers most of our lives. As the aches and pains of sleeping on the cold hard ground started we found that camping was not as much fun as it was in our younger days! About 7 years ago we were looking at alternatives to tent camping and thought we would trya a hardside TT. We purchased a used 14 foot fully self-contained Sunline and camping was reborn!

A year later we purchased a new 26' Skyline 5th wheel Lite that we towed with an F-150. This was a well matched combo and served us well. Alas, the desire for an Airstream became overpowering, so here we are!

We are looking forward to many years of pleasure with our AS and hope to learn from all of you pros out there, and contribute what I can to the forum.

Cheers!
Steve

Hi Steve, and welcome to the forums. I think your road to airsteaming is a common one. I got lucky, my 68 Trade Wind is my first camper (although I did pirate my brothers pop-up a good bit before...). I look forward to hearing from you in the future
