Can you stand another NG?

After following your forum for a year or so, I bought an Airstream and signed up for your forum! Thanks for having me!! According to the title it is a 1957 w/ a serial number (VIN) of 8308. This fits the rough estimates for 1957 but it has the 7 piece endcaps. Any of the experts care to hazard a guess on it?

Welcome from another Missourian. I have a 1953 Flying Cloud, and would love to see pics of your trailer.

Welcome to the forums. The serial number is good for a 57 Flying Cloud 22' from California. In the link you can see the one built right before yours #8307. The end caps were changed mid year in 57. Yours would be from the second half of the year.

Thanks for the welcome, soldiermedic! I got it in your neighborhood or fairly close. It came from Catawissa, MO, about 40 miles from you. By the way, is your war an old one or more current? I live in Lone Jack and it was an interesting trip getting the old honey back here on a large car trailer. TIP: always do illegal highway things on a Sunday. I think I have some pictures attached--we'll see!
Thanks for the info and link, azflycatcher!

Welcome

Since I know what *NG stands for in the context you used it. It would be nice if you tone it down some so I don't wind up explaining what it means to my daughter. She can read too.

Welcome "Friendly New Guy"....that's all that needs to be said.

My war started in 91 and continues on today. I actually looked at this 57 FC. I saw it on ebay, and spoke with the guy. Almost bought it, but he wanted a little more than I was willing to part with.

You're in for a long and wild ride.
