CaliTex Introductions

Greetings All,
Our 2008 Bambi arrived under cover of darkness at midnight this weekend. Now we can finally see, touch and smell the many things we've been reading about on this fabulous airforums sight for the past few months. Thanks to all of you contributors for paving the way with excellent question and answer sessions for everyone to plow through.

My first question will go up today.

Another welcome. Great looking trailer.

I saw your first post, and have been waiting for the question. You'll get plenty of answers here.

Bambis are such charmers, are they not? You can't help but love 'em. Welcome to the Forums and the wonderful world of Airstreaming...

See you down the road...

Ahhh. The question. I did say I would write one that very first day, didn't I? Well, I got cold feet and decided to read more forums to make sure I didn't see the answer to my question already answered, and waste someone's time.

I saw answers close to my Q, but not quite the same.

Anyway, when the AS arrived, it was missing one lug nut and that made me nervous to even tow the thing. I read the entire manual and couldn't locate what size to order to replace it. I did see a nice member post that included a photo with the nut and a decorative cover and discussions about those two things, just no size. If I don't see the size soon, I'll ask a local RV dealer who is going to help me pack the bearings.

Cheers!

Hello CaliTex, and welcome to the forums! Congratulations on your new Bambi! We have a 2008 also- the 20' model. Got it last July, so we are still going through the learning curve. I'm sure someone will respond about your lug nut question- good luck and keep us posted.
