Missiewik, My wife and I formerly had a 17' Casita and have recently moved up to a 25' Airstream. I highly recommend having more space, especially for a family.

We sometimes camp with our adult children and grandchildren. With the Casita, most had to spend the night in the tent. That got old really fast and my children started only visiting for the day. Last weekend, we took the family out with the 25' Airstream. We slept 6 in air conditioned comfort! Now our children are looking forward to coming with us again. A 17' Casita was adequate for a couple, but the wide-body 25' Airstream is luxurious for two and comfortable with six.

Go to a dealer and spend time in each with your family and see which one fits. Our dealer in Tampa welcomed us many times to get a feel for the different models before we chose the 25'. The extra 6" of width really made the difference for us between the 23' and the 25'. You may be able to tow a 23' with your Tacoma, but a 25' will require a vehicle upgrade.

Have fun choosing a travel trailer!
