brand new....lots of questions

I just purchased my 67 Sovereign from a car dealer in NC. I have absolutely NO history on it. It has "ghost numbers". Can I post the numbers and possibly get some information on it? Every window was replaced with plexi and they also leak so the renovation will be extensive. I intend to join the club but need to wait a little while.

Any help given is "air"ppreciated! Loving my AS though..leaks and all!

The ghost numbers you reference were probably the number that was assigned by the Airstream Club. They may not be the best source of information about your trailer. You should look for the name plate with the serial number.

Once you have the serial number you can look up information on the internet. A couple of sites that will get you started are or

Good luck with your efforts to learn more about your airstream. Be sure to check out some of the forums right on this site as there is a tremendous amount of information and a lot of links to other useful sites.

If you post them in the WBCCI forum , someone might well have more information. In my case, it was as easy as putting ours into google. We got a lot of history that way.

Welcome and greetings from someone else from Hartsville.

Two suggestions at least visit Alumalina at Wateree SP in March and meet about 100 plus fellow streamers.

Go say hi to Mary at Donmar off of I95 just south of Florence, you'll be needing her help someday for service or parts.
