Andy, I would like to know this as well. The stated tow vehicle for this new member is a GMC Sierra. Just for the sake of discussion, we'll assume it is a
1500. The trailer in question is a Bambi II
1964, 17'. Bambi II's weigh in at 2500 pounds or less when loaded to travel. Most equalizer hitches have weighted bar ratings of 500 pounds, concerning hitch weight. Would this not be overkill? I am confused here. Also, there are many pictures of WALLY himself NOT using equalizing bars or sway controls. Perhaps he didn't know better either.
