Boise, Idaho & Austin, Texas
2012 25' International Serenity and 2012 Toyota Tundra 5.7L Rock Warrior w/600# Equalizer.
First unit sold from the new A/S dealership in Boise/Nampa.
Howdy, from a steak & potato guy, if you get the geographic menu allusion!

Always great to see MORE and MORE Texas streamers. Be on the look out for a rally this fall that will be held at Garner State Park.
Welcome to the forums!

Tom, have to ask: if you're from TX, how on earth did you come to buy an A/S in Idaho?? it's a fur piece to go for warranty work!

A short story
Landshark,
Easy answer, I love Idaho! Have made my second home in Boise's North End and my 25' Serenity is parked in the back. Just hop an airplane and I'm ready to raft the Snake, Salmon, Owyhee, Payette, Boise, Grand Ronde or just mountain bike the Sawtooth. Might winter in the South when I stop working but for now, enjoy making new friends in Idaho whenever possible and work hard to pay for my dream in Texas.

Sounds like an excellent plan! We moved to Idaho in '76 from the East Coast and have loved it from Day1. This is especially unusual since within the first two months we were here, the Teton Dam broke (we were renting a house right on the Snake River) and my fledgling garden was frosted in June! We wondered if we'd done the right thing, but no real doubts: Idaho is the last, best place to live, although our side of the state has fewer people and we prefer it over here where it's higher, colder, and closer to the Tetons and Yellowstone.
If you get to Idaho Falls, holler and we'll get together. There's a free overnight City RV park with dump and fresh water on the south side of town with big trees and right on the Snake, you'd love it! PM me if/when you can come for contact info.

Vivian,
Caught the biggest trout of my life over on the Henry's Fork of the Snake with a fly rod and enjoyed being in that country. Thanks for the information and will keep you posted on my exploits. First, I need to make sure the kinks are worked out of the operator and unit! ;-)
Thanks,
Tom
