Argosy Gitters

I have just purchased my first. I am 6'2 and have always found it hard to fit comfortably into trailer beds. The side bed is 48" x 74" is it enough room for two to sleep ok. I like a double bed but.... other than that looking to restore this little classic, with your help of course.

For two, we have found the twin configuration is better. The double bed isn't quite wide enough for two, unless you're really, really slim (and we aren't).

We are comfortable with our Argosy double bed, but we are not large people and a double is enough for us (not quite as comfortable as our queen at home, but it works for our camping trips). Don't know if I would care to live in it fulltime, tho. Climbing over a partner to get out of bed in the middle of the night isn't a screaming joy.

We have double beds in our AS and our Avion, both of which are comfortable. The size of the bed really doesn't matter with us, as my SO only takes up half. The only problem is that her half is always...The Middle Half!!
