Another Newbie!
Just a brief introduction. I'm new to the AS, but not to the camping life. I recently picked up a 1978 28' Argosy. I decided on the Argosy over A.S. for 2 reasons:
1. I haven't found an A.S. for sale that either didn't need a complete gut job,
or that was priced right for me.
2. I really dreaded the idea of having to keep the A.S. polished. Paint just seemed the best choice for me, and also the uniqueness of the Argosy appealed to me.
Either way, the trailer has most all the original cabinets, appliances, tub, vanity etc. All glass is in good shape, and I'm not sure about all the systems, but I do know the a/c runs but doesn't cool. It has a soft spot in the rear of course but I have no intentions of a major shell off resto.
I have been probing around the various forums picking up different tips and info, and I'm convinced that any questions I may have will be answered here. Thanks in advance for all future replies.

Welcome and congrats on your new to you Argosy. There's a great thread in here somewhere on Argosy paint jobs...I think they're awesome!
Post pics - lots of them. 😄

Hello from central Kentucky and welcome to the forum. Congrats on the Argosy, should have a lot of fun with it. I saw some nice ones when we were shopping but the wife was dead set on an AS. But let's see some camping pics of her/him when you get out on the road.

Welcome! I saw a really cool Argosy at Lake Catherine State Park, Arkansas. It was painted Glossy Black, and was amazing to see. It was parked in a shady spot. The Argosy coaches have a very cool appeal, cant put my finger on why, they just are.

I can't seem to upload any photos? I followed the instructions regarding setting up an album etc., but I saw no option to add an album. Also tried adding as an attachment, but failed to upload???

The forum has had some recent problems, there may still be ghosts in the machinery. Are you trying to link to a photo, something elsewhere on the Internet, or are you trying to attach a photo you've uploaded?
