Another new member!

Hello everyone.

We just bought a 1973 31 footer! It's in pretty good shape. Just did a major clean, the electrical works except for the parking/running lights, the AC works, the PO "said" the plumbing works, we'll see...

Can't wait to get going!

Welcome!

I tried to fix my "operational" lights for some time before I did a full replacement. I wish I would have not wasted the time.

I would really suggest a full replacement with LED if possible. The safety and correct operation is worth it!

Congrats on your 31 footer! Nice to have you here.

I agree with Dan, best thing I did was go LED. Those clearance lights can sure keep you hoppin....

Welcome

theveths,

Welcome to the forums and to Airstreaming. There is a wealth of knowledge here. I'm confident, whatever you run into as you progress with your project, someone here has learned some valuable lessons, and more important, they're willing to share those lessons. I spent hours repairing and rebuilding the existing running lights on our '64 eventually getting them all working (most of the time) and agree, replacement is the way to go. LED or conventional when we get to that part of the project on the '68, it's replacement not repair.

Good luck and keep us posted.

Roy
