Another New CA Owner!

I still remember camping as a kid in our vintage Cozy Camper and dreaming about owning one of those gorgeous silver "bullet" trailers I'd see in the campgrounds around the US. Well, I grew up and my idea of "camping" was a hotel without room service for years. Now, the Hubby and I have so many friends that camp and we've had so much fun with them that we started looking around about 5 years ago -- we loved the AS - nothing else really measured up for us but the new ones were pricey for something we'd only use on weekends now and then as we both have demanding jobs. Well, a couple of months ago, I got to thinking about getting an AS again and decided that I could comprise a little and get a smaller, not-new one and thanks to this forum, found a sweet little 1992 Sovereign 21 with the nicest PO ever! We brought her home last weekend and camped in our own trailer for the first time and had a blast! Next trip - 2 weeks - Lake Berryessa!

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! I've been lurking here for a couple of months educating myself - it's nice to be a fellow AS owner now! I'm in the process of making a few improvements right away -- new drapes, new light fixtures for now and later on a bath remod of some sort and probably refinish the interior walls in some fashion...oh, and re-cover the front sofa (goucho) too. We're really lucky that our AS is in really great condition - new appliances, interior and exterior in great condition -- just cosmetic stuff to our tastes needed really!
