Hello everyone,
Time for an introduction.
Our trailer camping experience started with a Scamp 13 in 2001. We factory-ordered it with front & rear dinettes (the rear is permanently made up as a bed) and no bathroom (to simplify maintenance). Our camping has always been at organized campgrounds, usually Forest Service or National Park. Our trips range from weekends nearby to as long as two weeks across four states. Sometimes it's just the two of us, and sometimes we are joined by friends who bring their own trailers or tents. Last year we had ten families camping together on the Pawnee National Grassland.
We still really like the Scamp, but are thinking of moving to a larger unit for the usual reasons. Airstream trailers have made it to the top of our list, and we have been studying up on them and lurking here on Air Forums for a long time.
We dropped in on the WBCCI DenCo unit's Yuma rally last year, and that helped us recognize the value of the Airstream product, and of all you Airstreamers. The opportunity for participating in-person with an active group, and online in this forum, is as strong a reason to consider Airstream, as the product itself.
