Almost done with our 1965 Caravel

Started Nov. 2005 and almost done, all I need to do is to polish with Nuvite S, the pictures show finished compounding, I uploaded a few pic's show outside and inside.

Wow!

hi- that is one gorgeous toaster! Obviously many hours of loving work, it really shows. What is your fold-up table top made of? Looks like copper or something-? Congrats on your brand-new '65! -tim

Gorgeous!

We are working on our 65 Caravel too, just a long way to go. Been working on the tow vehicle too! Where are you located, we're in central NY, in Plymouth, NY 13832. We are off to 4 3 days of boon docking up at Rollins Pond State Park, near Saranac Lake, NY.

Thanks, lots of hours for sure and loved ever one of them, the fold up table is orginal, but what a great idea with the copper......

That is some beautiful work on the interior (exterior too for that matter) I really like the countertop pattern - looks like a granite pattern? We went with a black granite pattern and really like how it turned out.
I see on your Pergo install you layed it side-to-side instead of lengthways. I contemplated doing mine that way as it looked like it would be much easier, but we layed it lengthways - that just added to the challenge. I wasn't sure it would look right, but I can see it does. Great job on your AS - enjoy!

I noticed that laying it side to side works better because they have a tool that look "L" shape, you take one end of the "L" lay it over the end of the Pergo and at the other end the opposite "L" you take your hammer and hit it, that draws the pergo together very tight, gives you more room to work with

We're trying to decide, if we go with a floating type floor product, which direction to install it. GP, Could you post some pictures of your interior for comparison? Anyone else with pictures in your Gallery I could peek at?

BTW, I love the vintage radio and fan. The whole thing is just like a page out of "Trailers Beautiful"
