al 1966 airstream owners

The greatest experience Richard and I had was to join the California Airstream Rally in April at the Cassini Family Ranch. We were invited by "Pink". We learnd so much about our 1966 Land Yatcht Safari (22'). Thank you Pink.
NOW: We desperately need help with fixing/replacing the bathrom and most of all we want to replace the floors with Cork.
There was someone at the rally who mentioned that he had a name of a place where ewe could buy cork tiles at a reasonable price. Will that person or anyone else, give us some advise on both: bathroom issues and flooring issuees.
By the way, the plywood in our trailer is in tip top shape

You should read up on cork a bit so you know what to expect from it and what forms it's available to you in. This is a very informative site. Give it a whirl and see what you think. Buy Cork Flooring :: Cork Floor Buying Advice :: Choosing Cork Floors

I was also at Casini on Saturday afternoon and (rainy) Sunday morning. Did you make it into this picture we took down by the river?

Looks like I'll soon be joining the '66 Club. I'll be pulling the trigger soon on a '66 Overlander.

Samaki, I see you're up in Bellingham. We lived there from 2001-2004 while I was in the Navy. We sure miss the beautiful summers up there, though I don't miss the winters.

We bought our cork flooring at Lumber Liquidators in Sacramento. They are NOT tiles but interlocking plank sections. It is a 'floating' floor. We have not installed it yet. Here is the link.

PS. I'm the second from the left in the piccy above.

I'm front and center, with my favorite cowboy hat on. Lili Leatherby grabbed me by the arm and said " it's time for a picture"!

Who could resist?
