Bienvenue! I think that is how you say welcome in Francais. What an amazing site these trailers must be going down those very narrow roads in the hills.

Aussi, bienvenue! Plusieurs des gens ici vivent le reve d'Airstream en France. Frederic.c01 a Amberieu en Bugey, par exemple. Et Castelmaurou, presque Toulouse? Nous aimons toujours les photos!

whaou; it's a nice surprise for me to receive so many answers talking about airstream trailers ....I will send pictures as soon as I know how to reduce them... to the right size.
I noticed that some members are "france afficionados ", well here there are people who try to live a sort of american dream in a french way...
tomorrow I ll be driving my excella from the town of tarbes to toulouse; that means all along the pyrénées mountains . it's spring time now down here ;the sun is warm and there's still snow everywhere......
I will have my eyes wide open for you all....

Welcome to the forums. What are the campgrounds like in France? We have been there just once, sped across the landscape on the train from London to visit friends in Paris. Much too short and quick for a beautiful country.
Good luck to you, hope to see the pictures soon.

you can find the best and the worst ....depends on the price ,the owner; and the speed of the wind... but there's one thing we appreciate in france ,it's a small country, you can spend one night in the mountain ;the next day at the sea;and the third day in a medieval village...that s why you should travel south next time you come to france ,and enjoy old stones ;nice landscape and excellent food...
there's only one problem : french people
they re too lazy and nobody here speaks english!!!
I feel ashamed ....

Bluegrass in France

Wow! An Airstream, French food and one of the best places to find Bluegrass music (believe it or not) is a festival in southern France...coming up soon. I love it when a plan comes together. Jean-Luc, do you know anything about Texas B- B -Q? Go's quite well with an Airstream on the road. Got pictures of the restaurant? Welcome!!
